Product description
Tuthilltown Spirits LLC was an investment by Ralph Erenzo and Brian Lee in 2003. It was the first whiskey distillery to open in New York State since the end of Prohibition, although its first product was vodka.
Hudson whiskey soon followed. In 2010, William Grant & Sons acquired the rights to the Hudson brand and its global distribution; seven years later, the Scottish company acquired the distillery, warehouses, and on-site store and restaurant. Hudson Baby Bourbon is distilled from 100 percent locally grown corn and aged in 3-gallon barrels for several months. The warehouse is equipped with a sound system, and loud music, especially bass, causes the barrels to vibrate and the distillate to interact with the wood more quickly.
