Product description
Bruichladdich Distillery entered the new millennium under the ownership of privately held Murray McDavid.
The matured whisky was included in the sale and purchase agreement, which meant thousands of first-fill and refill bourbon and sherry casks. Such extensive stocks allowed the new owners to create an attractive and comprehensive offer. The second edition of the “Fifteen” hit the market in 2005, offering whisky aged in ex-bourbon casks and finished in ex-Sauternes casks from the famous Château d'Yquem.
Nose: delicately creamy, a beautiful combination of salty sea breeze, grapes, apricots, honey and sweet cereals.
Taste : mild, honey, apricots, rosehip jelly, orange peel, lemon grass, a pinch of salt and a delicate cereal note.
Finish : long, salty, with accents of vanilla and bitter orange jam.
