It could be said that Bowmore 12 years old has been part of Bowmore's core range "since forever". 

The great whisky writer, the late Michael Jackson, described it as “a very complex whisky” and we wholeheartedly agree. The distillery, on the other hand, says that it is “the pure essence of Bowmore – crashing waves, a windswept island and centuries of tradition… vanilla ice cream served by a dying beach fire.” We have nothing more to add.

Aroma: peaty with notes of honey, lemon, vanilla and salty sea breeze.

Palate: heather honey, vanilla, tropical fruits (pineapple, cantaloupe) wrapped in peat smoke.

Finish : quite long, smoky, yet fruity, with a slight hint of hay.
