The Giffard brand was established in 1885 by Émile Giffard, the pharmacist and owner of pharmacy in Angers, who created the formula of Menthe-Pastille Liqueur.

Today his company remains family owned and is run by Bruno Giffard and his sister Edith Giffard, Émile’s great grandson and great granddaughter. The Giffard liqueurs and syrups collection is diverse and unique ranging from classic Cassis or Curaçao Triple Sec to modern inventions like Banane du Brèsil and Pamplemousse. The Giffard range is led by the company’s signature liqueur, Menthe-Pastille, then divided into Premium, Specialty and Syrup sub-ranges. The Specialty sub-range features Classic Liqueurs and Crème de Fruits, the latter slightly lower in alcohol content and higher in sugar content.

At the heart of Giffard & Cie is a family tradition of using fresh fruits and herbs for their liqueurs and for over 130 years the family have been mastering maceration and infusion techniques suited properly to various fruits.

Giffard Crème de Pêche is made from the long and slow maceration of peaches and their crushed stones. The liqueur has very intense peach flavor and we recommend serving it with just an ice cube or with dry sparkling wine.
