Product description
This is an Irish grain whiskey produced at the Cooley distillery. The whiskey is named after the port town of Greenore, which lies on the Cooley Peninsula, not far from the distillery.
The whisky is produced in distillation columns, using the continuous distillation method. Greenore is produced mainly from corn and rye, which gives it a light and pleasant aroma and taste. It was matured in American oak barrels, where it spent 8 years.
Nose : light and full with notes of citrus, caramel, malt, vanilla, burnt oak, banana and other tropical fruits
Taste : sweet and smooth with notes of vanilla, oak, menthol, coconut, cream ice cream and exotic fruits
Finish : long with accents of maple syrup and nuts.
