The secret to this whiskey is filtering it through a ten-foot layer of maple charcoal (charcoral mellowing), fired on-site at the Jack Daniel's distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

The alcohol matures in handmade American white oak barrels – toasted and charred in the distillery.

Thanks to this, each barrel is full of harmonious aromas with noticeable notes of smoke from burnt oak.

Ingredients:

50ml Gentleman Jack

• 25 ml lemon juice
• 15 ml sugar syrup
• 15 ml egg white (optional)

Preparation method:

• Pour all ingredients into a shaker.
• Add ice and shake vigorously for a few seconds.

Pour into a glass with ice.

Gentleman's Manhattan

Ingredients:

• 50ml Gentleman Jack
• 12.5 ml sweet vermouth
• 12.5 ml dry vermouth
• 2 dashes of Angostura.

Preparation method:

• Fill half the shaker with cubed ice.
• Add all ingredients and mix for 10 seconds.
• Pour into glasses.
• Add 2 dark cherries on a stick and hang them on the rim of the glass.
