Product description
George Dickel is the second most popular Tennessee whiskey, although its annual sales are only 10% of Jack Daniel's.
In early 2018, Diageo, owner of the George Dickel Distillery in Tullahoma, Tennessee, changed its name to Cascade Hollow Distilling Company. In essence, it was a return to the original name; in 1884, Dickel and his brother-in-law, Victor Schwab, had purchased shares in Cascade Hollow Distillery. Dickel Tennessee whiskey is distilled from a mash of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley. The distillery resumed production in 2003 after a several-year hiatus, when the Barrel Select edition presented here debuted. It is blended from spirits aged for an average of 10 to 12 years, with just 10 barrels used in each batch.
