Product description
Bruichladdich Old Skool is A 10-year-old, non-peated single malt from Islay, produced to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the distillery's reopening. It is made entirely from barley grown on Islay, and its retro label pays homage to Bruichladdich's past releases.
The whiskey was aged in 95% first-fill bourbon barrels and 5% first-fill Sauternes barrels. This blend preserves the character of the barley distillate while enriching it with fruity sweetness and the subtle influence of French wine. It was bottled at 50% strength, without cold filtration and without added coloring.
The aroma features apricots, nectarines, and plums, accompanied by vanilla, the sweetness of barley, and floral notes. In the background, notes of Islay's maritime freshness, coconut, and caramel sweetness emerge. This Bruichladdich showcases the island character without peat smoke.
