Glenfarclas 190th Anniversary 2026 / 51.4% / 0.7 L

Glenfarclas 190th Anniversary is a limited edition created to celebrate the distillery's 190th anniversary, the final installment of the anniversary trilogy, following the 175th and 185th Anniversary editions. To create it, the following were selected: 78 barrels spanning as many as five decades of production – The blend includes whiskeys distilled since the 1970s. the 20th century.

Each decade contributes a different aspect of Glenfarclas' character: the older distillates are responsible for ripe fruitiness, whiskey from the 1980s. and 90. rich sherry notes develop, while the younger components add accents toffee and caramel. The entire batch was bottled with strength 51.4%, equivalent to the historic 90 British Proof, unfiltered at cold temperatures and with no added coloring.

The profile is rich and classically "Glenfarclas-like". They appear green apples, the sweetness of sherry, and a spicy fruit cake, and its velvety texture is complemented by caramel and malty notes. A long finish brings dark chocolate and a subtle hint of fresh tobacco.

This is not only an anniversary whiskey, but also a snapshot of several decades of work at this family-owned distillery—Glenfarclas has been owned by the Grant family since 1865 and continues to use traditional pot stills heated by direct fire.
