The unique character of this edition is the result of a careful selection of distillates aged in American oak barrels seasoned with sherry and ex-bourbon barrels.The lactones naturally found in American oak allowed the Whisky Mastery team to bring out a distinct coconut character without using any additional flavorings.The result is a fresh, exotic take on The Macallan style.

The aroma opens with notes of of fresh coconut, lime, and citrus, giving way to more exotic hints of tropical fruits.The overall profile is rounded out by vanilla, almonds, sweet oak, and subtle hints of spices.
