Highland Park 30-Year-Old 2024 Release is an exceptionally mature single malt from the Orkney Islands, in which three decades of aging come together with the distillery’s characteristic balance between fruity sweetness, aromatic richness, and delicate heather smoke.The 2024 edition was crafted from just eight carefully selected barrels, filled in 1990, 1991, and 1992.

This blend uses various types of wood: three sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads, one sherry-seasoned American oak hogshead, two refilled hogsheads, one butt, and one former bourbon barrel.It is this combination that gives the whiskey its multidimensional character—ranging from spices and citrus to creamy vanilla and almonds, all the way to more exotic notes of coconut.

The fragrance opens with jasmine, lemon-scented geranium, and pink grapefruit, accompanied by freshly cracked coconut and subtle spicy notes.Despite 30 years of aging, the profile retains a surprising freshness and elegance.

An intense, nutty sweetness emerges on the palate of peaches steeped in almond liqueur, giving way to caramelized lemons, creamy notes, and spices.Power 45.4% provides the right concentration without detracting from the whiskey’s mature, harmonious structure.

The finish is long and elegant.Fruity and citrus notes gradually give way to the delicate smoke of Orkney peat, rich in heather, leaving behind the distinctive Highland Park signature.
