The Small Batch Collection is a series of limited-edition single malt whiskies in which carefully selected casks highlight individual aspects of The Glenlivet’s character. These whiskies are bottled at cask strength without chill filtration.
This 19-year-old edition, named Indulgent Chocolate, brings together whiskies matured in first-fill American oak barrels, first-fill sherry butts and second-fill ex-Scotch barrels. The combination highlights rich chocolate, raisin and nutty notes, complemented by fruit and sweet spices. Bottled at 57% ABV.
Nose: blackcurrant coulis, fresh figs, chocolate-covered raisins, treacle tart, dark toffee, cloves and cinnamon.
Palate: sultanas, orange zest, chocolate hazelnut cream, ginger biscuits, candied walnuts and cinnamon sweets.
Finish: rich, sweet and spicy.
