Planteray Stiggins Fancy Pineapple is a masterpiece created as a tribute to Charles Dickens’ character, Pastor Stiggins, who loved to drink his favorite pineapple rum.Stiggins’ Fancy is made from small but very tasty Victoria pineapples, which are peeled by hand; the pineapple peel is steeped and redistilled in Planteray 3 Stars rum, while the sweet fruit pulp is steeped in our Original Dark rum, which is then further distilled.Both distillates and the fruit infusion are blended together at the end, resulting in a perfectly balanced, exquisite rum with a natural flavor and authentic character, inspired by a traditional and complex recipe dating back to the 19th century.The Planteray Rum team tested dozens of different pineapple varieties before choosing the Victoria pineapple for its perfect level of sweetness and delicious flavor.To this day, the creators meet several times a year to hand-cut every single pineapple that makes Stiggins’ Fancy so unique.A bartender's favorite for spectacular cocktails.
