Product description
Jack Daniel’s has been the number 1 best-selling American whiskey for years; in 2022, the brand sold 14.6 million cases worldwide.
It is also an American icon, matching Coca-Cola, and Harley Davidson. It is hard to believe today that back in the 1950s, the condition of the company was far from perfect, and in 1956, it was acquired by Brown-Forman for $18 million. Fast forward to 2022, according to the Best Global Brands report, the value of Jack Daniel’s brand is $7.17 billion, which makes it the most valuable spirit brand in the world. Jack Daniel’s whiskey is distilled from mash composed of 80% corn, 8% rye, and 12% malted barley. Since it is Tennessee whiskey, the spirit undergoes a charcoal mellowing process; every drop is filtered through a 10-foot layer of maple charcoal.
Nose: sweet, caramel, maple syrup, vanilla, orange peel, banana skin, roasted peanuts, hints of cinnamon, and charred oak.
Palate: buttered popcorn, vanilla, caramel, toffee, banana chips, baked apples, clove, cinnamon, hints of licorice and charred oak.
