The story of Padre Azul tequila is a story of love between a beautiful young Mexican girl studying at Heidelberg University in Germany and an Austrian.
The idea of Padre Azul was born during an initiation meeting between the Mexican father-in-law and the Austrian son-in-law, where a bottle of tequila was involved. Soon the son-in-law, already infected by the love of quality distillates by his father, a manufacturer of schnapps, joined his father-in-law and a team of experienced tequila makers in Mexico. Tequila Padre Azul is manufactured at Tequila Tres Mujeres distillery, made from 100% blue agave and double distilled in stainless steel pot stills. The Blanco expression is not matured in oak barrels prior to bottling. Tequila Padre Azul possesses a kosher certificate.
Nose: Flowers, black pepper, medicinal notes, citrus, a hint of leather and vanilla.
Palate: Velvety, with notes of baked agave, some fruits, flowers, pepper, vanilla and earthy overtones.
Finish: Medium long, with earthy notes and delicate herbs.
