Product description
Whispering Angel Rose is an iconic rosé from Château d'Esclans in a beautiful location in Provence, which has revolutionized the perception of rosé wine in the world. The wine is made from Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Vermentino. The fruit is hand-picked, fermented in steel tanks at a low temperature. The recommended serving temperature is 9°C, ideal with salads, fish, vegetables and grilled dishes.
Château d'Esclans is located in the Provençal region, whose origins date back to the Gauls, who used to watch the boats arriving in the Gulf of Fejus. A new era began when the estate was acquired in 2006 by Sacha Lichine. Born in Bordeaux, he completed his education in the United States, where he also worked as a sommelier and wine salesman for Caribbean Châteaux, a company that distributes its wines in the most luxurious hotels and resorts on more than 18 islands. From the beginning of his career, he saw the potential in rosé wines and devoted much of his work to creating extraordinary labels that have gained recognition around the world. In 2019, LVMH acquired a 55% stake in Château d'Esclans, creating an unusual alliance and providing the estate's wines with international recognition and powerful marketing. Sacha still holds a 45% stake and is developing the premium rosé wine category, creating a new chapter in the winery's history.
