GlenDronach 12-Year-Old is the epitome of master craftsmanship and the production of a high-quality single malt whisky. It is matured for a minimum of 12 years in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalusia. Maturing in these exceptional casks gives the whisky notes of vanilla, spice, dark fruit and a unique, long, nutty finish.

The whisky is uncoloured, bottled in its natural colour and at 43 percent alcohol.

What does The GlenDronach Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Original Aged 12 Years taste like?

• Aroma: sweet, creamy vanilla with traces of ginger, complemented by a hint of mulled wine and pear
• Color: deep amber, with distinct tones of red and gold
• Palate: rich, creamy silk, oak and sherry sweetness, raisins, dark fruits
• Finish: long, full and decisive, with notes of nuts.

THE GLENDRONACH OLD FASHIONED

INGREDIENTS:

• 60 ml The GlenDronach Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Original Aged 12 Years
• 15 ml sugar syrup
• 3 dashes Angostura® bitters
• 2 dashes of orange bitters
• Orange peel

PREPARATION:

• Add ingredients and ice to a bar glass
• Mix the ingredients for 30 to 40 seconds
• Pour into a short glass.
• Garnish with orange peel

The GlenDronach Master Blender is Dr Rachel Barrie. Barrie oversees the selection of the right vats, barrels and blends. It is thanks to her that the distillate maintains the quality in line with its long tradition.

The Master Blender is also responsible for overseeing the careful maturation of the whisky in sherry casks.

The GlenDronach 12 yo. is made at one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland: The GlenDronach Distillery.

It is situated in the Forgue Valley, in the eastern part of the Highland region.

For almost 200 years, The GlenDronach Distillery has been creating high-quality Single Malt Whisky, combining Scottish craftsmanship with the flavours of Spanish spirits thanks to Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry casks.
