The Soplica Quince liqueur is one of the oldest and most noble types of Polish liqueurs, made from quince fruit - a fruit with an intense aroma, related to apple and pear. The name "Soplicowa" refers to the cult work "Pan Tadeusz" by Adam Mickiewicz, where the noble Soplica manor symbolizes Polish tradition and hospitality. Quince liqueur has been perpetuated as a symbol of Polish table culture, and in many regions of Poland quince liqueur is served at weddings or holidays as a gesture of respect for guests.
