Crafter's Wild Forest Gin + Copa Glass / 47% / 0.7l

Crafter's Gin debuted in 2015 in the offer of Liviko, an Estonian producer of over 70 alcoholic beverages. The company was founded in 1898 and operates in three Baltic republics - Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

The selection of components for Crafter's gins is the domain of Hanna Kaur, who constantly experiments with botanical ingredients and their compilations. Aromatic Flower Gin is her own formula no. 38, which includes: juniper berries, fennel, lavender, spirea, elderberry, lemon and grapefruit peel, rose and wild rose petals, chamomile, coriander and yuzu (citrus junos). Thanks to the pigments contained in the wild rose petals, after adding tonic, the gin takes on a slightly pink color. Crafter's Aromatic Flower Gin has been in Liviko's offer since 2017, a year later it won a silver medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition.

Gin reminiscent of the evergreen forests of Estonia. The main ingredient is of course juniper berries, but they are also accompanied by spruce needles, pine shoots, heather and berry shoots. Lemon and orange peels add a fresh character, seasoned with ginger, nutmeg and iris. Very fresh on the nose, it gives a really wild impression, a bit of smoke is noticeable. Full in taste, woody notes intertwine perfectly with juniper, delicate minerality is noticeable. Very intense on the finish, with notes of orange and lemon, as well as a delicate accent of the forest.

It works very well on warm summer days, served with tonic, or as an ingredient in refreshing cocktails with green forest accents.
