Product description
The original Bankhall Distillery was founded in Liverpool in 1790 and was once one of the largest producers of English whisky, ending its early history in the 1920s.
In 2019, Halewood Artisanal Spirits built a new Bankhall Distillery, this time in Blackpool, which, equipped with three stills, produces whisky based on the bourbon formula, single malt and blended whisky. The distillation is overseen by Vince Oleson, previously responsible for the Widow Jane brand. The Bankhall British single malt whisky presented here debuted in 2023. It is distilled from English barley and aged in bourbon barrels and so-called virgin American oak barrels.
