Sambuca Bottega Liquore is a traditional Italian liqueur with anise flavor produced near Venice. Sweet, intense and velvety in taste. Obtained from a special species called star anise, which comes from the shape of the fruit resembling an eight-pointed star. It came to Europe from the Middle East and due to its exceptionally rich flavor and extremely aromatic oils, it is ideal for the production of Sambuca. A very popular way of serving is the so-called Flaming Sambuco, where just before serving, to enhance the anise flavor and aroma, the contents of the glass are briefly lit on fire, which is extinguished just before drinking. The whole thing creates a spectacular show.
