Product description
The Pogues are an Irish punk rock band formed in 1982.
Its original name was Pogue Mahone, an anglicized version of the Gaelic “póg mo thóin” or “kiss my ass.” The group went on hiatus several times, finally disbanding in 2014. Pogues, the “official whiskey of the legendary rock band,” debuted a year later as a collaboration between its members and West Cork Distillers. It was a blended whiskey that won several major awards, including a gold medal from the World Spirit Competition judges in 2017; The Pogues single malt whiskey debuted two years later. The brand is currently produced by Dublin-based Dyflin Distillers Ltd., which is the creator of the Cinnamon Irish Whiskey Liqueur presented here – Pogues single malt whiskey “spiced” with cinnamon.
