- 50 ml Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon
- 10 ml sugar syrup
- 3 dashes Angostura® bitters
- orange peel
PREPARATION:
- Combine ingredients in a glass.
- Fill a glass and a serving glass with ice.
- Mix ingredients for about 30-40 seconds.
- Strain into a serving glass.
- Garnish with twisted orange peel.

Brand History
The place where the art of making this exquisite bourbon was developed is the Woodford Reserve Distillery, an American national historic treasure since 1812. Today, the distillery's historic legacy continues. The Woodford Reserve Distillery is often referred to as the birthplace of bourbon, because it was here in 1838 that Dr. James Crow perfected the "Sour Mash" process that is still used in bourbon production today. Since 1995, the Woodford Reserve Kentucky Distillery has been on the National Register of Historic Places and is officially recognized as such by the U.S. government. Its fame was sealed by its addition to the list of National Historic Treasures (NHIs) in 2000.
