Product description
Aberfeldy Distillery is based in the southern Highlands, in the village with which it shares its name.
Built by John Dewar & Sons in the late 19th century, it now belongs to Bacardi Ltd and produces around 3.4 million liters of distillate per year, most of which goes into Dewar's blends. The Aberfeldy Red Wine Cask Collection by Stephanie MacLeod, Bacardi's master blender, debuted in 2019 with the 15-year-old Pomerol Casks Finish, and each subsequent year another "wine" Aberfeldy has hit the market. The 18-year-old presented here, finished in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from a renowned producer from the Napa Valley, hit the market in 2023. In recent years, the popularity of the Aberfeldy single malt has grown significantly, with current sales exceeding 1.5 million bottles per year.
