Product description
Jefferson's Bourbon debuted in 1997 in the McLain & Kyne company owned by Trey and Chet Zoeller. The Zoellers chose Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States, famous for his constant "storming of thoughts" and creative invention, as the patron of the brand. The Zoellers bought whiskey from American and Canadian distilleries and tried to combine "very small batch whiskey". In 2005, they sold the company to Castle Brands, which in turn lost its liquidity a dozen or so years later and was taken over by Pernod Ricard for $223 million in the fall of 2019. The Jefferson's presented here is a blend of straight bourbons from undisclosed producers.
