Product description
Brighton Gin is a 2013 creation of the great gin connoisseur Kathy Caton. Its base is spirit distilled from wheat (malted and unmalted), and the final product is certified vegan.
The list of botanicals includes juniper berries, orange peel, lime peel, coriander seed, angelica root and milk thistle (the latter resembles thistle and is used in folk medicine as a liver-protecting medicine). The distillate is diluted with filtered water. Brighton Gin is offered in two versions – Pavilion Strength (40% abv) and Seaside Strength (57% abv). They differ not only in alcohol content; in the Seaside Strength formula we find four times more juniper and twice as much citrus peel. The gin is produced in small batches of no more than 250 bottles, and the entire production process, from peeling the fruit to bottling, is done by hand. In 2022, Brighton Gin Seaside Strength won a gold medal at the International World Spirits Competition.
Brighton Seaside Strength offers a strong aroma of juniper, candied orange and a hint of coriander. The taste is again juniper, pine needles, oranges and delicate accents of pepper and nuts. We recommend serving with a delicate premium tonic and a quarter of lime.
