Jack Daniel's has been the most popular American whiskey for years, with sales of 14.6 million cases in 2022.
The standard Jack Daniel's represents the Tennessee Whiskey category, but the brand also includes rye whiskey and several flavored versions. In 2022, Jack Daniel's Twice Barreled Single Malt debuted; master distiller Chris Fletcher confirmed that experiments with this type of whiskey have been conducted since 2012. A year later, the offer for the Travel Retail chain included Jack Daniel's Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish, a whiskey distilled from 100% malted barley, subjected to the "charcoal mellowing" process, aged in American oak barrels for about four years and finished in Oloroso sherry barrels for another 24 months.
