Product description
Jura has been one of the hottest single malt brands in the new Millennium, with sales going through the roof, reaching 2 million bottles annually; furthermore, its market share in the UK came to 7.5% in 2020, which made Jura the best-selling single whisky in the country, before Glenfiddich and Glenmorangie.
Such growth in popularity is an effect of clever brand marketing and, indeed, an increase in the quality of the whisky. At the turn of the century, the distillery started to re-rack a big chunk of its inventory into high-quality ex-bourbon casks. Consequently, a new attractive product range has followed. Jura Bourbon Cask was introduced in 2022 and remains an entry-level expression in the range. The whisky was aged exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and bottled without age statement.
