Product description
Johnnie Walker Blue Label, an ultra-premium blended whisky, debuted in 1992 with 16 components by master blender Jim Beveridge.
Its main ingredients were (and still are) Caol Ila, Royal Lochnagar and Mortlach. We hear that the first edition also contained a few drops of Auchtertool single malt from 1923. The standard Johnnie Walker Blue Label is complemented by dozens of special editions. The Year of the Wood Dragon presented here is a celebration of the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Wood Dragon (10.02.2024 - 28.01.2025), considered the most powerful animal of the zodiac. On the label, it emerges from a picturesque forest as a symbol of life and an omen of future prosperity. The author of the graphic design of this limited edition is the talented American illustrator of Taiwanese origin, James Jean.
