Product description
The roots of the Black Bull brand date back to 1864 when it was registered by George Willshire, a Dundee grocer and spirits shop owner.
In the original formula, the ratio of malt to grain whisky was 50/50, and the finished blend hit the market with an alcohol content of 50%. After a years' break, Black Bull whisky returned to the market in 2009 in the offer of Duncan Taylor Ltd. In 2023, Duncan Taylor, in collaboration with golf champion Nick Faldo, released the limited series "Tale of Two Legends". It consisted of four Black Bull whiskies - 18, 30, 50 and 55 years old. The 18-year-old presented here has a special meaning for the champion born on July 18, who turned professional at the age of 18, and also achieved an excellent result of "18 under par" winning the British Open in St. Andrews in 1990. The whisky is a blend of distillates aged mainly in sherry casks.
