Product description
The history of the brand began in 2001, when Daniele Donnini wanted to create his own vineyard in the Montalcino region. The plantings spread out on the slopes of Val d'Orcia, with a very good exposure to the south-east and produce very good quality Sangiovese grapes. From the beginning of the brand, emphasis was placed on the high quality of the wines, as well as on the harmony between the character of the region and the owners' own interpretation.
Currently, together with family members Taeko, Mayumi and Akira, Daniele produces five wine labels, with Brunello di Montalcino at the forefront. Despite their small production, they distribute their wines on three continents.
Pulcinculo IGT Toscana Bianco 2018
Wine produced only in certain years, when the quality of grapes allows it. This is not a marketing ploy, but a transfer of the brand's philosophy and a strong emphasis on the final quality of products. Very small quantities are released on the market. On the nose it is very aromatic and quite concentrated, developing towards notes of exotic fruits, with pineapple and melon at the forefront, additionally floral nuances appear. On the palate it is fresh and crisp, but with a good structure, it combines well the flavors of dried fruits with balanced acidity. The finish is long and light, with a slightly spicy accent.
It tastes best served at a temperature of 10-12 degrees. Perfect for drinking alone or as an aperitif, although it works equally well in culinary combinations with salads with goat cheese, fried fish or seafood.
