Product description
Godet is one of the oldest cognac houses. The company was officially registered in 1782, although the beginning of the family business dates back to 1588, when Bonaventure Godet began trading wine in La Rochelle.
The next step was their distillation and a license granted by Henry IV to produce “Brandwine”. Today, the company is run by Jean Edouard Godet and his sons, representing the 14th and 15th generations of the founding family; their cognacs are available in 60 countries. Godet XO Fine Champagne is a blend of eaux-de-vie from the Grand Champagne and Petite Champagne growing regions, aged for an average of 25 years. In 2017, it was awarded a silver medal at the World Spirits Competition.
