Product description
The Pusser's brand is strongly associated with British sailing traditions.
Traditionally, each sailor on Royal Navy ships received a daily ration of rum, rationed by the ship's Purser (which the sailors changed to Pusser). Pusser's Rum Ltd. was founded almost a decade after the Royal Navy abandoned this noble custom on July 31, 1970. The inconsolable sailors named it Black Tot Day. It took until 1979 for them to be able to relive the good old days - thanks to Pusser's Rum Ltd. To start, five different rums from the West Indies (or Caribbean) were blended using the original Royal Navy recipe.
Pusser's Coronation Reserve is a blend of Guyanese and Trinidadian rums, distilled in pot stills and column stills. Aged for a minimum of 3 years in charred American oak barrels. Prepared to commemorate the coronation of King Charles III.
