This is a new depth of 22 hand-picked botanicals and explores a bolder side of The Botanist, with a new higher ABV of 51.5%. This edition is dedicated to the travel treacle chain.

Aroma: Opens with sweet juniper and spices,cassia and coriander, the influence of 22 boldly comes to the fore with mint, sweet bayberry and wild thyme. Notes of cinnamon, coriander and juniper provide a base for the aromatic botanicals of Islay, revealing their depth and expressiveness.

Palate: 22 herbal notes complement the base of earthy, spicy juniper tones. The characteristic balance of Botanist is beautifully emphasized by the high strength and viscous consistency of this edition.

Finish: Long and powerful, with rich textures settling on the palate. The weight of the flavour begins to change, with delicate floral notes emerging – soft juniper, citrus, water mint, sage and clover. The essence of Islay’s wild botanicals lingers, leaving an indelible impression of the Hebrides.
