Product description
The history of Maison Martell begins in 1715, making it the oldest of the so-called “Big Four of Cognac.” Few today remember that Martell sent the first shipment of cognac to China in 1858, initiating a trade that continues to this day.
To celebrate the Year of the Rabbit, which begins on January 22, 2023, Martell invited the visual artist Christoph Niemann to create a special edition of cognacs from the basic offer. In the case of Cordon Bleu, the creator was inspired by a drop, the motif of which is a metaphor for the taste of cognac, a blend of 100 eaux-de-vie. In the artist's message, in each drop we find the aforementioned one hundred eaux-de-vie. This limited edition is available exclusively in the Global Travel Retail network. Cordon Bleu, a creation of Edouard Martell from 1912, is still composed according to the original formula.

Finish: quite long, with notes of roasted nuts and almonds, dried fruit, white pepper, cinnamon and oak.
