Product description
Bull Run Distilling Company was founded in 2010 in Portland, Oregon by Lee Medoff.
Medoff began his career as a brewer, then moved on to winemaking, and finally distilling in 2004. He is also one of the founders and first president of the Oregon Distillers Association. Bull Run Distillery produces vodka, gin, and whiskey, often buying the latter from other distilleries, finishing and processing it on site. Bull Run Straight Bourbon is distilled from a mash of 65% corn, 25% rye, and 10% malted barley, most likely at MGP Indiana, and aged for at least four years in fresh, charred American oak barrels. Each barrel contains no more than 12 barrels. In 2012, this bourbon won a gold medal at the American Distilling Institute Competition.
