Glenmorangie is currently the fourth most popular single malt whisky, closing 2021 with sales of 6.5 million bottles.

The distillery became famous for the finishing maturation of its whisky back in the 1980s, setting a trend that most producers have followed. Glenmorangie's latest offering is the "The Cadboll Estate" series, which falls into the "from grain to glass" category. The whiskies that make up the series are distilled from barley from the fields surrounding the distillery, The Cadboll Estate, grown according to the detailed instructions of the production director, Dr. Bill Lumsden. The third edition of the series presented here was aged for 15 years in bourbon barrels, while part of the batch was finished maturing in Amontillado sherry barrels. This limited edition hit the market in 2023.

Aroma : fragrant, honey, vanilla, toffee, hazelnuts, orange peel, baked peaches, a bit of jasmine and honeysuckle and delicate mineral and oak notes.

Palate: sweet and spicy, heather honey, toffee, pralines, hazelnuts, Christmas gingerbread, a touch of coconut flakes, cinnamon, cloves and toasted oak.

Finish : medium long, with notes of toffee, honey, hazelnuts, cinnamon, ginger and toasted oak.
