Product description
Fercullen Whiskey debuted at the end of 2018 in the Powerscourt Distillery range.
The company was founded in 2017 and is based on the Slazenger estate of Powerscourt in County Wicklow (the word “Fercullen” comes from the Gaelic “Fera Culann”, the name given to the land surrounding the Powerscourt estate). The distillery has three stills and can produce around one million litres of spirit per year. Production is overseen by master distiller Noel Sweeney, formerly of Cooley Distillery. This Fercullen single malt is the first release of this whiskey, distilled (three times) at Powerscourt Distillery. This historic edition, bottled at 46% abv, non-chill-filtered, was released in 2023 in a limited edition of 6,000 bottles.
