Product description
Balblair Distillery, founded 1790, is one of the oldest Scottish distilleries remaining in operation, and one of the very few, which history stretches for four centuries.
The distillery has been owned by Inver House Distillers since 1996 and equipped with a single pair of stills can produce up to 1.8 million liters of spirit annually. For the most part of the new Century Balblair single malt had been bottled exclusively by distillation year and such strategy significantly increased the brand’s annual sales. In the early 2019, for reasons unknown to us, the distillery switched back to age statement and introduced new core range. Here is a single cask expression of Balblair, whisky distilled in 2006 and aged in American oak cask # 465 for about 16 years. Bottled of natural color without chill filtration in 2022 exclusively for the German market, with an outrun of 174 bottles.
