Product description
Brockmans Gin debuted in 2008 as part of the offering of the Brockmans Gin Company, founded two years earlier, and within a decade it gained considerable popularity on both sides of the Atlantic.
It was created by Neil Everitt and Bob Fowkes and their two friends, brothers Kevan and David Crosthwaite. The gin is formulated with 10 botanicals: juniper berries, almonds, angelica root, blackberries, blueberries, cinnamon, coriander seeds, grains of paradise, bitter orange peel and orris root. They are macerated for 24 hours in quadruple-distilled grain spirit to extract the natural flavours and oils. Distillation takes place at the G&J Distillery in Warrington, the oldest gin distillery in the UK (established in 1761 and currently supplying around 50% of the UK's gin).
According to the producer, "Brockmans Orange Kiss Gin combines notes of Triple Sec and Seville oranges with traditional gin elements." We recommend serving it only with ice or a delicate premium tonic. The Orange Kiss Margarita also seems to be an interesting proposition.
