Airem Blue Single Malt Whiskey Aged in PX Casks / 40% / 0.7l

Airem Beverage Group SL is a young Spanish producer and distributor of alcoholic beverages based in Marbella, in the province of Malaga.

The company was founded in 2017 and specializes in kosher and gluten-free vodkas and gins, as well as single malt whiskey. The latter is produced using water from the Sierra Nevada mountains, one of the purest in the country. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about Airem whiskey, apart from the fact that it is a 100% Spanish product. The limited edition of Airem Blue presented here is made from distillates aged in Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels.

Aroma: sweet, with distinct notes of sherry, Christmas fruit cake, sultanas, dried figs, roasted hazelnuts, honey and a pinch of allspice.

Palate : rich, sweet sherry, raisins and sultanas, vanilla, honey, marzipan, milk chocolate, candied ginger, cinnamon and roasted nuts.

Finish : quite long, with notes of sultanas, dried apricots, vanilla, honey, cinnamon, sherry and oak.
