Elijah Craig 12 Year Old Small Batch Barrel Proof (Batch No. A122) / 60.4% / 0.7l
Product description
Elijah Craig Bourbon debuted in 1986 in the Heaven Hill Distillery offering as a 12-year-old.
Its patron is the Reverend Elijah Craig, a preacher considered by some to be the father of bourbon (the idea of aging distillate in charred barrels is attributed to him, although sources are not clear on this matter). Elijah Craig 12 years old quickly became synonymous with high quality at an affordable price. The Barrel Proof version debuted in the fall of 2013 and hits the market on average three times a year. The A122 batch presented here, bottled at 60.4% alcohol, went on sale in January 2022. In 2017, Elijah Craig Barrel Proof was chosen "Whiskey of the Year" by the editors of "Whiskey Advocate" magazine.
