Product description
Speyburn Distillery was built by brothers John and Edward Hopkins in 1897.
In 1916, it became part of DCL, and since 1991, it has belonged to Inver House Distillers. After the expansion completed in 2015, Speyburn is the largest distillery in the Inver House portfolio, producing over four million litres of distillate per year, most of which goes into blends blended by the company. Annual sales of the brand fluctuate around 600,000 bottles per year; it experiences its greatest popularity overseas. The Speyburn presented here, distilled in March 2007, spent over 15 years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry butt (no. HL 19721), and was bottled by Hunter Laing & Co. in the Old Malt Cask series in October 2022. The edition consisted of 669 bottles.
