Product description
Hayman Distillers Company was founded in 1820. In 1863 it was purchased by Beefeater gin creator James Burrough and for over 120 years it remained in the hands of the Burrough/Hayman families. Shortly after its acquisition by Whitebread Spirits Group in November 1988 Christopher Hayman, then director of the company, managed to buy back the family brand and start producing gin under the Hayman Distillers Co. The company is now managed by his son and daughter, James and Miranda Hayman. Over the years they have developed a rich range based on the family formula, which includes: juniper berries, coriander seed, angelica and orris root, lemon and orange peel, cinnamon, cassia bark, liquorice and nutmeg. Hayman's Gin Liqueur is the oldest liqueur based on gin, the modern version of which was developed based on a family formula by Christopher and James Hayman, descendants of Jim Burrough. We do not know the exact sugar content in the liqueur presented here, according to current regulations it cannot be less than 100 grams of sugar per litre of alcohol. Hayman's Gin Liqueur was included in the basic offer in 2004.
Hayman's True English Gin Liqueur is a great liqueur with a strong citrus flavour, a subtle hint of spice and a wonderful juniper finish. We recommend serving it at room temperature, over ice or in Tom Collins and Martinez cocktails.
