Product description
Watt Whiskey Company joined the ranks of independent whisky publishers in December 2019.
The company is owned by Kate and Mark Watts and is based in Campbeltown, known for over a century as "Whiskypolis". The company's range includes single malt, single grain and blended malt whiskies, usually bottled at cask strength and always without chill filtration. The whisky presented here, distilled from 2009 at St. George's Distillery, spent 12 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel. In 2022, its contents translated into 228 bottles. St. George's Distillery was built by James Nelstrop and his son Andrew in 2006. It was the first malt distillery to open in England in over 120 years. It is based in Roudham, Norfolk.
