Product description
The first drops of distillate flowed from the Arran Distillery stills on 17th August 1995 and three years later Arran single malt made its market debut, very well received by whisky lovers.
In retrospect, it seems that the distillery heralded the boom of the new millennium. Today, the Arran Distillery Company owns two distilleries on the island – Lagg Distillery filled its first cask in spring 2019 and produces a smoky-peaty spirit, while the original distillery has been renamed Lochranza Distillery. This whisky, released in August 2022, celebrates the 25th anniversary of La Maison du Whisky’s launch of its whisky.fr website. Distilled on 17 October 1997, it spent almost a quarter of a century in a refilled sherry hogshead cask, number 1997/1323. The anniversary edition was released in the Antipodes Collection series and consisted of 239 bottles.
