Product description
The Hart family began trading in the late 19th century, but it was not until 1964 that brothers Iain and Donald Hart joined the whisky producers, changing the name of the family business to Wine & Spirits Wholesalers and Scotch Whisky Blenders.
Alistair Hart joined in 1975 and remains the blender to this day, selecting the casks for all Hart Brothers whiskies. The Dalmore featured here was distilled in May 2012, then matured in American oak casks for a basic maturation and finished in a Bordeaux cask. It was bottled at 46% abv, natural colour and unchill-filtered in July 2022. The Dalmore Distillery was founded in 1839. It has been owned by Whyte & Mackay since 1960 and produces 4.5 million litres of distillate per year from four pairs of stills.
