Product description
Gordon & MacPhail is a custodian to some of the finest and rarest single malts.
The company has been bottling whisky since the late 19th Century and today no less than 300 expressions are released annually under the G&M logo. Speymalt is a result of over 100 years long fruitful collaboration between the famous distillery and equally famous bottler, in fact it is a separate rage in Gordon & MacPhail portfolio. It is hard to tell how many casks of Macallan rest in G&M warehouses, in the past the distillery owners have repeatedly been forced to buy the stock back from G&M. Since 2018 however the supply of Speymalt has been drastically cut. Here is whisky distilled on May 15, 2000 and aged in first fill sherry hogshead # 1772 for over 20 years, then bottled at 55.9% abv for the Swedish market on October 13, 2021. Only 108 bottles were produced.
