Product description
Douglas Laing & Co. was owned for over 40 years by brothers Fred and Stewart Laing.
In 2013, the brothers split the assets and went into business for themselves. The Provenance series remained in the Douglas Laing & Co. portfolio, now owned by Fred. Early 2015 saw a change in the visuals – while the previous presentation referred to the season, the current one emphasises the region in which the distillery is based. The Craigellachie shown here, distilled May 2009, spent over a decade in a refill hogshead cask DL 13557. The whisky was bottled in August 2019 at 46% abv, with no added colouring or chill filtration, in an edition of 373 bottles.
