Product description
The Epicurean is the Lowlands representative in Douglas Laing & Co.'s The Remarkable Regional Malts Collection.
The name of the whisky evokes the memory of a charismatic gentleman from Glasgow famous for his dislike of empty glasses and love of fun, the soul of the 1930s high society. The 2019 edition of The Epicurean Côte-Rôtie Cask Finish heralded the expansion of the brand to so-called wood finishes, and over the next few years Douglas Laing & Co. revealed many faces of the Epicurean. In early 2023, they were joined by the Amarone Cask Finish presented here, which took its final touches in a barrel of a unique wine from the Valpolicella region in northern Italy. The edition consisted of 888 bottles.
